Jennifer Ehle, best known for her turn as Elizabeth Bennett in the BBC’s “Pride and Prejudice”, is in talks to join another sweeping tale of passion, romance and unoiled bits, “RoboCop”.

Deadline says Ehle, recently on CBS’s “A Gifted Man”, would play the character of Liz Kline.

The cast of this reboot is shaping up sweeter than Delta Goodrem’s chap-stick – Joel Kinnaman, Jackie Earle Haley, Gary Oldman, Hugh Laurie, Abbie Cornish and Samuel L. Jackson. Jose Padhila, one of the less laziest DGA card-carrying members around Tinseltown at the moment, is directing.

Now I have no idea who Liz Kline is, and seemingly neither does Deadline or they would have said so, but guessing she’s one of the company employees – - or the ‘Officer Lewis’ of the picture.
