Biopic based on the late Brittany Murphy in the works

A biopic based on the life of the late Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy is in the works.

“Britt”, written by Julia Davis and Murphy’s father AJ Bertolotti, will chronicle the “Clueless” and “8 Mile” star’s life, career and untimely death at the age of 32.

The film, which Davis will also direct, will depict Murphy’s romances, fears, betrayals and the overwhelming forces that shattered her promising life.

The film reunites much of the team of “Top Priority : The Terror Within”, a documentary that briefly touches on Murphy’s tragic death, including Davis, Bertolotti, BJ Davis and Asif Akbar.

With so much info said to be concealed about what really happened to Murphy in those final few months of her life, “Brit” should be a compelling watch.

The film is now in per-production, so expect to hear more soon – especially in terms of casting.
