Warner Bros rebooting Looney Tunes movie franchise

A new animated/live-action film based on the Looney Tunes stable of characters, including Bugs Bunny, is in the works; Warner Bros has tapped ex-”Saturday Night Live” cast member Jenny Slate to pen the script for an untitled picture being described as a ‘reboot’, according to THR.

David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith, of the upcoming “Beetlejuice” sequel, are onboard to produce the film, along with ”Harry Potter” producer David Heyman and his Heyday Films president Jeffrey Clifford.

The script for the new film, which follows previous Looney Tunes films “Space Jam” and “Looney Tunes : Back in Action”, is under wraps.
