Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Rian Johnson

“Looper” is the time traveling sci-fi flick that has so much more to it than just time-traveling and sci-fi. Written and directed by Rian Johnson (“Brick”, “The Brother’s Bloom”) “Looper” is set in the near future where the mob uses time travel to send people to hitmen called loopers, who kill them on the spor. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Joe, a looper who doesn’t mind his job… until he gets sent his future self (Bruce Willis) dun dun duuuuun! Seriously, this movie is both smart and cool, and will appeal to sci-fi lovers and non sci-fi lovers alike.

I sat down with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rian Johnson to chat more about the movie. “Looper” is out in US and Australian cinemas now, so grab your flying motorbike and get out to see it!

Alicia Malone is a Film Reporter, TV Host, Producer, Writer, Editor, and all around movie geek. She developed her taste for film at a young age, spending many a heady Friday night pajama-clad at the video store, picking out her 7 films for 7 days for $7. Bargain! While at school she created a Film Club, electing herself President. Eventually the School Principal asked her not to get up in assembly to talk about movies anymore.
