Cameron Diaz comedy Bad Teacher becomes a TV series

Being that it was such a dandy good time, politically-incorrect Cameron Diaz comedy “Bad Teacher” is being remodeled for the TV screen.

A series based on the film, which feature writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg are on board to executive produce, is set-up at Sony Pictures Television, according to THR. The half-hour comedy will be written and executive produced by Hilary Winston (“Community”).

The CBS comedy will, like the film, follow the exploits of a money-hungry middles-school teacher.
