With so much going on this time of year (Nothing like a good mull over the perfect Christmas card for that distant second cousin in Montana), particularly in the world of entertainment, and with the beseeching of content-reading at an all-time high, it’s understandably easy to miss some things sometimes.

Anna Kendrick to star in musical The Last 5 Years

The “Twilight” and “Pitch Perfect” actress is set to star in the film adaptation of the play, “The Last 5 Years”. A romantic-comedy-musical, the film is set over the span of five years, with a young man and woman chronicling their meet, make-up, break-up etc. Richard LaGravense (“PS I Love You”) directs. Lerman, Hutcherson circle The Bluff

Logan Lerman and Josh Hutcherson, both ‘Spider-Man’ contenders at one stage, team up for a tweenage take on “The Hangover”. “The Bluff”, also set in Vegas, chronicles the misadventures of some mischief-chasing youngsters. (FULL STORY)

Bettany, Goode set for watery war tale Destroyer

Paul Bettany and Matthew Goode are set to star in the true story of a NAVY battle ship that was attacked, leaving 19 dead. (FULL STORY)

Benicio Del Toro talks Sin City 2

The “Savages” star says he doesn’t know whether or not he’ll be asked to reprise his role as Jackie Boy in the “Sin City” sequel, despite production ramping up. Del Toro also talks about another upcoming film, of which the title has been changed. (FULL STORY)

The “Twilight” Saga won’t end with “Breaking Dawn Part 2″

Details are skim but apparently Bloody Disgusting’s earlier sources that some sort of ‘reboot’ of the series was in development, were on the money (FULL STORY)
