E! takes on supernatural romantic drama from Josie and the Pussycats duo

In a bid to move away from reality- driven programming, E! Is set to add a supernatural romantic drama to its stable of scripted shows in development, according to Deadline.com.

The show will centre on a young, recently-deceased entertainment lawyer who dies but finds himself in limbo in New York City; while working for the department that judges the recently dead, he soon becomes determined to pursue a romance with a woman who is stil alive.

Feature writer-directors Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont are set to work on the project as well as producing alongside Aaron Kaplan.

Elfont and Kaplan have recently written “Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus” for Lionsgate which is set to star Reese Witherspoon, as well as TV-pilot “American Judy”.
