I’m trying to put together my 10 most anticipated movies of 2012 at the moment – proving a lot more difficult than I imagined, due to the great mass of product coming out next year – and one of the few sure-things for that list is this beauty, J.J Abrams’ “Star Trek Into Darkness”. Tipped to be the ‘Dark Knight’ of the rebooted “Trek” franchise, the film sees the intergalactic starfleet suits going up against a smarmy mysterious Brit with magical abilities in the deep ass of space. The cast includes John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller.
Empire Magazine‘s latest issue is available to buy in several different “Star Trek Into Darkness” covers. In addition, the guts of the magazine feature a wobbly waterbed full of juicy pics from the film. The covers and images can be found in the gallery below. Blow ‘em up!
