The very busy Dane Rhodes, currently seen as Tennessee Redfish in “Django Unchained”, has joined the cast of “Grudge Match” starring Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro.
The New Orleans-based actor previously worked with Stallone on “Bullet to the Head”.
“Grudge Match”, which has also recently hired veteran announcer Mike Goldberg and “Californication”‘s Camden Gray for roles, shoots next month in Las Vegas.
The Phantom may cross paths with The Punisher.
Billy Zane is “in talks” to join the cast of Dolph Lundgren’s latest, an action film in gangster garb.
Director Georgio Serafini tells us it’s “A story of betrayal inside of a mobsters family that works like a whodunnit. Tons of unexpected twists. No one is who he seems to be.”
Zane isn’t a lock yet, but the producers hope the “Titanic” and “Sniper” star will be confirmed soon.
Vinnie Jones is also onboard the pic, which begins active prep on Monday.
C.Thomas Howell (“The Amazing Spider-Man”) has joined the cast of the heist action/comedy from Chris W. Freeman.
The Los Angeles-lensed flick fixes on a group of rednecks and rogues that are brought together to pull off a low-tech heist. Former “Angel” star Elisabeth Rohm and TV pranker Jamie Kennedy are also onboard.
