Producing powerhouses Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks are back, with a third War-centric mini-series at HBO.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the follow-up to Hanks’ and Spielberg’s “Band of Brothers” and “Pacific” follow-up is based on the non-fiction book ‘Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany’ by historian Donald L. Miller, and will be focused on the aerial wars, and told through the eyes of the soldiers in the 8th air force, also known as the Mighty Eight.

Both “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific” were popular amongst the award committees, so expect this latest one to also see some gold upon debut.
