J.J Abrams bringing Lance Armstrong’s Mission Possible to the big screen

Executive producers J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burke (”Fringe”, ”Lost”) are set to bring the epic rise and fall of cycling star Lance Armstrong to the big screen.

As first reported by Deadline, Paramount have finalized a deal that will see the book ‘Cycle Of Lies: The Fall Of Lance Armstrong’ written by New York Times sports journalist, Juliet Macur, get the cinematic treatment.

This will obviously be a very different ‘Armstrong’ flick than the one producer Frank Marshall and actor Matt Damon (and briefly, Jake Gyllenhaal), playing the cyclist, were planning to make a couple of years ago.
