X-Files comics reunite Mulder & Scully

IDW Publishing and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products have announced that they will publish a new series of comic books based on the cult Sci-Fi series, ”The X-Files”.

IDW previously released the popular X-Files/30 Days of Night crossover series, and there are plans to reprint collections of previously released classic issues, as well as create a brand new series of comics which will launch in June 2013.

Reported on PREVIEWSworld.com, “Few shows have captured the zeitgeist and fans’ imaginations like THE X-FILES, and fewer shows still have left people hungry for more in the way this one did. Our new series will be picking up where the second film left off, which will hopefully be as exciting for fans to read as it is for us to develop.” said Chris Ryall, IDW’s Chief Creative Officer/Editor-in-Chief.

To quote Dana Scully, “I’m alllll a tingle.”
