Emma Roberts will star in the new Fox TV drama “Delirium”, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The “Scream 4″ actress will play lead Lena Holoway in the Karyn Usher-written pilot, adapted from Lauren Oliver’s best-selling literary trilogy.

“Delirium” is about “a world where love is deemed illegal and is able to be eradicated with a special procedure. With 95 days to go until her scheduled treatment, Lena Holoway does the unthinkable: She falls in love.”

Roberts, whose previous TV gig was leading Nickelodeon’s “Unfabulous”, recently completed work on the film “We’re the Millers”, starring Jennifer Aniston.
