“Super Troopers 2″ has been on the cards longer than the bubblegum mark.

Now, according to Broken Lizard member Kevin Heffernan (in an interview with GuySpeed.com), the boys in, er, grey may be back on the beat as early as next year.

“We wrote the script and handed it in to Fox, and now we’re just negotiating the time and the place and hopefully shoot it some time this year. I have to start growing my mustache now.”

Hopefully Fox are looking into a ‘Movember’ release date.
