Nicolas Cage retiring as Ghost Rider

Nicolas Cage is hand-balling his flaming skull to another.

Asked whether he’d be interested in reprising Johnny Blaze a third time, “Ghost Rider” star Nicolas Cage tells Collider that he isn’t.

Assumingly disappointed with how the first two “Ghost Rider” movies, or simply convinced Marvel will reboot the series, Cage tells the site that there’ll likely be another movie in the series but he won’t be back as the title character.

“I’ve said what I have to say. I don’t want to say never…anything’s possible. But I doubt, highly, that I would be in a third installment of that.”
