Drew Barrymore is reuniting with Adam Sandler, her co-star in “The Wedding Singer” and “50 First Dates”, a third time.

“Wedding Singer” director Frank Coraci and producer/star Sandler has managed to coax Barrymore into playing the female lead of a new romantic comedy set up at Warner Bros, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The project, at one stage titled “Blended”, ”centers on a man and a woman who, after a disastrous first date, get trapped at a family resort with their kids from previous marriages in tow. An attraction begins to grow despite comedic mishaps. ”

Sandler and Barrymore are magic on-screen together, so this one should prove to be a rare treat for the comic’s fans.
