Dwayne Johnson’s back in the saddle, or warm car-seat as it is, for May’s “Fast & Furious 6” and tells Collider you might even see his character, Luke Hobbs, in his own movie after that.
“[We could see the Hobbs movie] possibly after this one, after the next one. Possibly. I’m not quite too sure, I know that’s the goal and we continue to build that character and have him take shape. But yes, I can’t wait.”
Johnson, also the new lead of the “G.I Joe” franchise (“G.I Joe : Retaliation” opens in about a fortnight), is committed to reprise Hobbs for “Fast and Furious 7”, as he says above, but if time permits we might get twice the, erm, ‘Hobbs’ that same year. Or within a short amount of time, anyway.
