Rachel McAdams is in talks to join Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone in Cameron Crowe’s next, currently-untitled film.

Said to be a rom-com, the fairly secretive project – the logline of which sounds a little loopy – will feature “The Notebook” actress as an ex-flame of Cooper’s character.

The Hollywood Reporter has the following :

A defense contractor (Cooper) who is overseeing a weapons satellite launch from Hawaii teams up with (and falls for) an Air Force pilot (Stone) to scuttle the launch. Mystical island forces and a talking computer also play a part.

The film, eyeing a September start, is Crowe’s first narrative feature since 2011’s “We Bought A Zoo”.
