Is David Goyer, the “Batman Begins” scribe whose latest writing assignment “Man of Steel” hits cinemas in a couple of months, eyeing a reunion with Superman?

According to AMC’s John Campea, over on Twitter, Goyer might be in the mix to not only write but direct the long-gestating “Justice League” film.

It’s an easy one to believe, considering Goyer’s relationship with both the comic book movie world (he also directed the third “Blade”, and wrote the first two) but more so, his relationship with DC. Still, take it with a grain of salt for the moment – if only because there are bound to be a smorgasbord of “Justice League” rumours before Comic-Con, at which time we should hear something more official on the long-lingering film property.
