More Trainspotting
Ewan McGregor’s ready to reprise Renton for that oft-talked about “Trainspotting” sequel. Says Ewan, “…there’s talk of it happening in a few years time, and I’m totally up for it. I’d be so chuffed to be back on set with everybody and I think it would be an extraordinary experience”. (The Scotsman).

Dredd 2 : Dredd Harder
Despite the failure of the first film at the box office, “Dredd” star Karl Urban says a sequel is “not off the agenda”. ”Interestingly enough, I did have breakfast with Alex Garland this morning. It’s not off the agenda [a sequel]. Clearly everyone has woken up to the fact that an audience has found this movie and loves it. It’s entirely possible, and if people want to see another installment then they should be vocal about that, because, it can happen.” (Collider)

After, After Earth
Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment has already inked a deal for a sequel to this Summer’s “After Earth” (FowardTimesOnline)

Pineapple Express 2 : Bananas!
James Franco wants a “Pineapple Express 2″ to happen. “As far as why ‘Pineapple Express 2’ has not been made for real, I don’t know what the holdup is. I would do it, Danny [McBride] would do it, Seth [Rogen] would do it. I think Seth and [co-writer] Evan [Goldberg] just need a fire lit under their asses.” (GQ)

ID Forever Parts One and Two
“Independence Day” directors Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin say they’re still hoping to follow-up their 1996 hit. “Roland and I would really like to do one,” Devlin said. “We have some pretty darn good ideas on how to do one and, hopefully, that will all come together.” The duo confirmed that, if it happens, Jeff Goldblum will be “invited back” along with the already mentioned Will Smith and Bill Pullman. The ABCs of Death 2 : Deathlexia
Álex de la Iglesia, Rodney Ascher; Bill Plympton; Erik Matti and Lancelot Imasuen are among the director’s involved in the sequel to “The ABCs of Death” (First Showing)
