Derryn’s ex and the brightest beacon to come out of Aussie gem “Animal Kingdom” has snagged yet another plum role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Jacki Weaver, who has gone on to great acclaim and steady employment in the states (appearing in everything from “The Five-Year Engagement” to “Silver Linings Playbook” – which she also snared an Oscar nomination for), has lucked herself into Woody Allen’s next flick.
Weaver and Marcia Gay Harden (“Mystic River”) are two new additions to the film, currently filming in the South of France.
The film, customarily (Allen keeps everything secret until that first trailer) without a title and with a concealed plotline, also features the likes of Emma Stone and Colin Firth.
Allen’s next, “Blue Jasmine” opens in the states on July 26.
