Len Wiseman exits The Mummy reboot

Movie News

Len Wiseman (“Underworld”) has exited Universal’s “The Mummy”, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Wiseman was expected to direct the reboot of the monster movie, but sources say his commitment to TV’s “Sleepy Hollow” – of which he directed the pilot and is expected to helm the first few episodes – got in the way.

Jon Spaihts wrote the script for the film, which a new director is now being sought for.
