Sizemore high on new Sundance Channel series

Tom Sizemore’s due to return from… that shop around the corner… shortly… with a role in Sundance Channel’s new series “The Red Road”.

The “Saving Private Ryan” and “Night of the Living Dead : Origins 3D” star joins Kiwi Martin Henderson in a cop series about “a local cop (Martin Henderson) struggling to keep his family together while simultaneously policing two clashing communities: the small town where he grew up and the neighboring mountains, home of a Native American tribe. After a terrible tragedy and coverup occurs involving the cop’s wife (Julianne Nicholson), an unholy alliance is forged between the cop and ex-cop Phillip Kopus (Jason Momoa), a dangerous member of the tribe that will come back to haunt all involved.”, says Deadline.

Sizemore, in a role that will require great research, is playing an unpredictable drug dealer.

Who am I kidding? I love this guy… you seen “Heat”? Guy’s the bomb!
