1. DL Hughley will co-create and star in a new untitled sitcom based on his life.

2. Patton Oswalt, Bob Oedenkirk and Ian Roberts have joined the cast of Robby Pickering’s “Kitchen Sink”, a genre mish-mash that “takes place in Dilford, a place where vampires were at the top of the social order, zombies were at the bottom, and the humans were in the middle. This all goes awry and it’s a battle, and it’s up to three reps of those groups to restore harmony.”

3. John Gallagher Jr (“The Newsroom”) and Kate Lyn Sheil (“V/H/S”) will star in “Heart Machine”. The movie, now filming in NYC, “sees Gallagher Jr. and Sheil play Cody and Virginia, a couple in a long-distance online relationship who have never met in person. Cody begins to suspect Virginia’s been living in New York the whole time and sets out to investigate.”

4. Bobby Cannavale will play a “bulldog political advisor” to Jamie Foxx’s character in the “Annie” remake.

5. Rodrigo Santoro (“300”) will play the leader of a formula one race team in “Focus”, the new Will Smith movie.

7. Alexander Moors (“Blue Caprice”) will direct the Illegal Organ Trading Thriller “Cannibal”.
