Charlie Bean to direct Warner Bros’ Ninjago

“TRON : Uprising ” helmer Charlie Bean is directing “Ninjago”, Warner Bros.’ big-screen adaptation of the popular Lego toy line, according to THR.

Dan Lin and Roy Lee will produce alongside Chris Miller and Phil Lord, who’ve been working with WB on “The Lego Movie”.

Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman, who snagged a ‘story by’ credit on the abovesaid “Lego Movie”, will write the pic.

The Hageman’s also write Cartoon Network’s “Ninjago : Masters of Spinjitzu”.

A spin-off of the Lego brand, “Ninjago” ”sees ninjas, samurais, and senseis fight side-by-side against dragons, armies of snake men, and Lord Gagmadon, an evil warlord banished to an underworld who now seeks to return to power.”
