There won’t be a new Pixar movie until 2015.

Disney announced today that “The Good Dinosaur” is shifting release dates from May 30, 2014 to Nov. 25, 2015. 2014 will be the first year since 2005 Disney hasn’t had a Pixar release.

The studio has also moved “Finding Dory” – their highly-anticipated “Finding Nemo” sequel – from Nov. 25, 2015 to June 17, 2016. “Dory” moves off the 2015 slot for the aforesaid “Dinosaur”.

The extra year wait on both pictures might just be a good thing though, after some recent Pixar disappointments, it gives the studio time to put more work into the animated efforts.
