Warcraft landing in cinemas December 18, 2015

Legendary Pictures have at last announced the date of their “World of Warcraft” inspired flick, according to Collider.

“Warcraft” will hit cinemas on December 18, 2015 – just in time for Christmas, where epic fantasy adventure films typically do well at the box office.

Directed by Duncan Jones, the film is officially described as “an epic adventure of world-colliding conflict” and stars such as Paula Patton and Colin Farrell are being eyed-off as potential leads.

Legendary pictures will produce “Warcraft” and Universal Pictures is set to distribute the film, which is scheduled to commence principal photography on January 13th 2014
