A new behind-the-scenes featurette and posters has been released for “Thor: The Dark World”, thanks to Marvel.

Starring the luscious Chris Hemsworth as the titular character, the new poster for the film features Ray Stevenson as Volstagg, one of Thor’s right-hand-men.

The featurette gives us a sneak peek into the film’s location shotting and massive sets, as well as production at Stonehenge and the use of Iceland as the world of the Dark Elves. It’s a brilliant behind-the-scenes grab and it’s great to see director Alan Taylor taking a practical look at the film’s exotic locations.

“Thor: The Dark World” continues the adventures of the Mighty Avenger as the fights to save Earth and the Nine Realms from a dark enemy that predates time itself. Faced with an foe that Odin and Asgard are unable to withstand, Thor must embark on a perilous journey that will see him reunite with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

The film will open in cinemas on 8th November 2013.
