Rising matinee idol Chris Pratt, soon to be seen in “Guardians of the Galaxy”, is in talks to star in another biggie “Jurassic World”, according to THR.

The former “Everwood” and “Parks & Recreation” star would play the role Josh Brolin was approached about last month – if he agrees to do it.

He joins Bryce Dallas Howard, who has been signed for a while now.

Colin Trevorrow is directing the film, which he co-wrote with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg is producing.

“Jurassic World”, said to be somewhat of a ‘reboot’ of the franchise, will also feature young actors Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson.
