Indie flick “Anesthesia” may have added Katie Chang to its rather unique collection of cast members, according to THR.
The creative writing freshman studying at Columbia made her feature-film debut in Sofia Coppola’s “Bling Ring”, and will join the cast of the Tim Black Nelson-helmed drama.
The film follows a group of New Yorkers who find themselves thrust into each other’s lives after popular Columbia University professor, Walter Zarrow, is mugged.
Glenn Close, Sam Waterson, Gretchen Mol and Kristen Stewart are set to head-up the film, with Chang to play Amy, a young love interest for Professor Zarrow’s grandson.
Chang is also due to start in Rob Meyer’s “A Birder’s Guide to Everything”, which is about a birding fanatic’s road trip and also stars Sir Ben Kingsley, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Alex Wolff.
