Well, at least it’s coming out.

Umpteen years after it went into production (for real), George Miller’s “Mad Max Fury Road” has snagged a release date.

The flick, starring Tom Hardy in the role made famous by adopted Aussie Mel Gibson, hits screens May 15, 2015.

Charlize Theron, Zoe Kravitz, Hugh Keays-Byrne and Nicholas Hoult co-star in the film written by Miller, Nick Lathouris and Brendan McCarthy.

Rumour has it Mel Gibson may have recently shot a cameo – either as an older ‘Max’ (to bookend the movie) or as a completely different character.. just for kicks.
