New Star Wars Episode VII characters revealed

In more hush-hush casting news for the much anticipated new ”Star Wars” instalment, the movie is looking for two young actors. The casting sheet; that was originally reported by BBC, is looking for a 17-18 year old young woman who is “street smart, independent, athletic, natural beauty” and a 19-23 year old man who is “athletic, smart and handsome”.

Casting has been a global affair with open auditions having been held in Australia, England and inside the US in Chicago, Austin and Nashville.

Assuming these are not just random teenagers, and instead are the much anticipated children of Han and Leia, these roles will be the part of a lifetime for young actors.

Latest casting rumor is that Lucasfilm are chasing an actor, in his 40s, to play a military officer – a’la Matt Damon in “Elysium”.
