Peyton Reed to direct Beatles movie

Peyton Reed to direct Beatles movie

Ever wanted to meet the man behind The Beatles?

The day may not be too far away, with production due to begin on “The Fifth Beatle” in January, according to Deadline.

Peyton Reed will direct the biopic about Brian Epstein, the founder and manager of the renowned band.

Based on Vivek J. Tiwary’s graphic novel, the film will follow the final years of Epstein’s life as he lead The Beatles to world-wide success. Epstein died in 1967, at age 32.

Oscar-winner Bruce Cohan is producing along with Tiwary.

While the project boasts that it is the first Beatles film to acquire the full music rights to the Lennon/McCartney music catalogue, the question remains; who will play Epstein?
