Texas Forever? Not so much.

In a move that is heartbreaking to a lot of ”Friday Night Lights” fans the show’s creator Peter Berg has given up on all hope of a follow up movie. In an interview with Collider, Berg stated “There’s not going to be a movie” and that he has come to believe that it’s probably not a good idea.

The TV show, which ran for 5 years, was a critical success and wrapped up all its storylines and characters in 6 minute montage that ended the series.

Not every TV show needs a movie to wrap things up. My advice: if you are crushed about this lack off movie news? Re-watch the series. It holds up, trust me.
