Sony’s greasing the wheels on a third “Bad Boys”, hiring “Safe House” writer David Guggenheim to weave something plotty together. Will Smith… and whats-his-face… will reunite for the way-too-expensive actioner, says Deadline.

Funnily enough, and despite Smith and Martin Lawrence’s involvement, Michael Bay apparently isn’t involved. He’s too busy blowing up… robot shit.

Jerry Bruckheimer, who recently moved his stationery container from Disney to Paramount, is producing.
