It’s time for “SVU” fans to say goodbye to Captain Donald Cragen.

Yep, after 14 years with the show, Dann Florek is leaving “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”.

Variety confirmed the news after Florek tweeted earlier this week:

“Friday was the last day 4 Cragen/Florek. It was a sweet send off! But he’ll live on in syndication land 4 evah!”

Capt. Cragen’s final episode will air in January, however it is not know how he will exit the show.

Florek follows Richard Belzer from the set, after the actor announced his retirement from the show this year. Another show favourite, Chris Meloni aka Detective Elliot Stabler, also left the show in 2011.
