Jesse Eisenberg’s got company over on James Ponsoldt’s newie.

According to The Wrap, Jason Segel will be the one sharing the jokes around the campfire with the “AdventureLand” star when “The End of the Tour”, Journalist David Lipsky’s account of the five-days he spent on the road with David Foster Wallace, gets underway. The trip took place during the last leg of the Infinite Jest book PR blitz tour of ’96 (if you don’t remember it, you’re excused because, quite frankly, most of us were too busy watching “Party of Five” to be bothered with anything else outside of the Salinger’s.)

Segel, fresh from “How I Met Your Mother”, plays Walace; Eisenberg is Wallace.

Production is set to start cooking around Easter next year.
