Inside Llewyn Davis tops the National Society of Film Critics Awards

CBS Films’ “Inside Llewyn Davis” has won big at the National Society of Film Critics top awards.

The 1960s folk music drama took out Best Picture, Best Director (for Joel and Ethan Coen), Best Actor (for Oscar Isaac’s portrayal of Davis) and the Cinematography gong (Bruno Delbonnel).

Other winners include Cate Blanchett, who received Best Actress for her role in “Blue Jasmine”, James Franco, who took out Best Supporting Actor for “Spring Breakers”, and Jennifer Lawrence who won Best Supporting Actress for “American Hustle”.

While “Inside Llewyn Davis” blew away the competition at these awards, it has otherwise flown under the radar of critic’s groups, receiving little attention, bar a picture prize from the Toronto Film Critics Association. The picture was often overshadowed by the likes of “American Hustle”, “Her” and “Gravity”.

The film looks at a week in the life of folk singer Llewyn Davis. Check out this behind-the-scenes look at a clip from the Coen Bros pic.
