After his rather public, colorful exit from “Community,” Chevy Chase might be making a reappearance on ABC, just in a different vehicle. According to THR, the one and only Clark Griswold is developing a comedy for ABC slotted for the 2015-2016 season with his former vacationer wife, Beverly D’ Angelo and producer Aaron Kaplan.

The comedy is in very early stages of development so there aren’t many details, except to say that you’ll be able to catch Chase again on a weekly basis. Let’s just hope they don’t suggest a sitcom and Chase takes some of his beloved comedy style out for a spin.

Chase and D’Angelo are also said to be cameoing in the in-development “Vacation” reboot, starring Ed Helms, but that’s been put on hold for the moment.
