“Horrible Bosses” helmer Seth Gordon is set to direct “Uncharted”, the long-gestating film based on the Playstation video game series, according to Deadline.
The “Uncharted : Drake’s Fortune” games follow the adventures of Nathan Drake, a treasure and antiques hunter who, with his loyal female aide, head out in search of the lost treasure of El Dorado (Nathan Fillion has always been the favourite to take on the role of Drake; likely the studio will go with someone a little younger though).
Set to go into production later this year, “Uncharted” boasts an impressive line-up of producing talent including Avi Arad and “Dark Knight Rises”‘ Charles ‘Chuck’ Roven.
Director Gordon landed on the map with his acclaimed documentary “The King of Kong : A Fistful of Dollars”, back in 2007.
