And to think that, though we’ve endured months and months of “take it the bank”-style casting rumours, neither Disney or Lucasfilm (nor whoever runs J.J Abram’s Twitter account) has confirmed any cast members for next year’s “Star Wars Episode VII”.
Taking their time, no?
Okay, so all indications suggest that Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are back, but what about the many other rumoured names? Surely, with production only a few shorts months away, we are only weeks away now of hearing confirmations on some of those most credible rumoured contenders – like Benedict Cumberbatch, Gary Oldman, Jesse Plemons and Hugo Weaving?
Alas, the ‘rumours’ continue.
Harry from Aint it Cool News has heard another name mentioned in relation to the flick; Knowles even goes so far as to say this guy is as good as a lock for the film.
“here’s a rumor to check up on. I’m hearing that Jack Reynor, a young Irish actor that will be in this new Bay TRANSFORMERS trilogy – but that I’ve now heard from two different sources has landed a role in EPISODE VII.”
If true, wonder who he’s playing? Is it the offspring of Skywalker or Solo? Maybe a new character?
