Another day, another “Batman vs. Superman” casting rumour.
Man-of-the-moment Michael B.Jordan is said to have met with director Zack Snyder about playing an (easily guessable though) undisclosed role in the 2016 release, according to Latino Review.
According to sources, the production is currently looking for a black actor in his early 20s who is also physically fit. Here is the kicker though: the part is for a small role in the untitled Batman Vs Superman movie BUT will be recurring in other upcoming DCU films.
The role also shoots for only a couple of days. At first I thought it was some little role but then I also found out that Zack Snyder has met with hot actor Michael B. Jordan for the role.
Considering the football sequences that were shot, most say the role Jordan’s probably up for is that of Victor Stone/Cyborg. And yes, that’d make sense.
Of course, Jordan is also the frontrunner to play The Human Torch in Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” movie – and is apparently close to signing – so that might’ve already kibosh-ed Snyder’s plans. And if it has, bring on Cuba Gooding Jr.
