Warner Bros has landed the rights to Mitch Albom’s bestselling novel “The First Phone Call From Heaven”.

The book, published last November, centres on the small town of Coldwater, Michigan in which the phones start ringing, with the voices saying they’re calling from heaven. A grieving single father decides to look into the calls to discover whether they’re hoaxes or whether the calls are indeed coming from beyond the grave.

Denise Di Novi is on board as producer and Chantal Nong and Cate Adams will oversee for Warner Bros.
