Don’t stress Aussies, local boy Jai Courtney is still a firm lock to play Kyle Reese in “Terminator : Genesis” – despite rumours this week that the film’s shooting schedule may clash with another project he’s committed to.

After expressing concern that the shooting schedule would interfere with that of Summit’s “Insurgent”, Courtney has been able to work out a deal that will see him able to shoot both films.

Courtney will play Kyle Reese in the pic which will be the first in a standalone trilogy. Co-starring is Emilia Clarke and Jason Clarke. Allen Taylor will direct the flick for which plot details are not yet known (though Moviehole’s recent exclusive story offers some insight what it could be about).
