The next seasons of “Parks & Recreation”, “Parenthood” and will be each show’s respective swan song.

“Parks & Recreation” showrunner Michael Shur announced that his show’s seventh season will be the final season. It sounds very much like it was a unanimous decision to end the show here.

It didn’t look like “Parenthood” would be returning at all for a while there, with much of the cast holding out for more cash. Alas, they’ve all agreed on a number that will get the main ensemble back for a sixth and final season – consisting of 13 episodes.

The show returns in the Fall.

TBS’s “Cougar Town” has also been renewed for a sixth and final season. The newly-commissioned 13 episodes will bring the show to 100 eps, meaning it’ll be ripe and ready for syndication.

“Cougar Town” originally aired on ABC.
