WWE veteran Dave Bautista (”Guardians of the Galaxy”) will play a key role in The Exchange and Radar Pictures’ reboot of the 1987 classic “Kickboxer”.

Stephen Fung (“Tai Chi Zero”) will direct the movie, with Georges St. Pierre (”Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) and stuntman turned actor Alain Moussi (”X-Men: Days Of Future Past”) also amongst the cast.

Moussi plays the role made famous by Jean-Claude Van Damme.

The movie follows the same storyline as the original : Kurt Sloane preps for a battle with Tong Po, the deadly fighter who killed his brother.
