Warner Bros has skedded the next movie in what it’s calling its “The Lego brand’s cinema universe” for September 23, 2016.

“Ninjago”, to be in 3D, will be helmed by “Tron Uprising” alum Charlie Bean.

According to THR, “Lego Movie” writer-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will be producing with Dan Lin and Roy Lee, who produced ‘’The Lego Movie.’’

The animated Ninja movie fixes on five warriors hired to protect their city against evil dark overlords – and other various rogues.

Warners are also developing a sequel to this year’s “The Lego Movie”.
