The nominations for the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced overnight at the TV Academy in North Hollywood.

“Game of Thrones” landed the most nominations at 19, including a nod for Best Drama Series along with “Breaking Bad”, “Downton Abbey”, “House of Cards”, “Mad Men” and “True Detective”.

Meanwhile, “The Big Bang Theory”, “Louie”, “Modern Family”, “Orange is the New Black”, “Silicon Valley” and “Veep” will vie for the Best Comedy award.

HBO raked in the most nominations with 99 nods while Netflix also held its own, more than doubling its nomination tally from last year sitting comfortably on 31 noms.

Lead Actor nominations include Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson in the drama category, both for “True Detective”, and the likes of “Big Bang’s” Jim Parsons and William H. Macy for “Shameless” on the comedy side.

“Orange Is the New Black’s” Taylor Schilling received a nod for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series along with Lena Dunham (“Girls”) and Amy Poehler (“Parks & Recreation”). “Homeland’s” Claire Danes and “The Good Wife’s” Julianna Margulies were among the Lead Actresses nominated for a drama series.
