Steve Carell is attached to a new Looney Tunes film from “X-Men : First Class” scribes Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz.
Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who directed Carell in “Crazy Stupid Love”, are in talks to direct.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the WB-housed project is in the early stages and plot details are being kept under wraps. What is know is that the film will somewhat center around the fictional Acme corporation – the company that produces the bombs and so forth that Wile E.Coyote uses to try and blow up Road Runner – that features in the Looney Tunes films.
The project, in development since 2010, is envisioned as a CGI/Live-Action hybrid.
