It looks like Matt Damon is set to return for the next “Bourne” instalment!
Damon and director Paul Greengrass are reportedly in early talks to possibly return for another “Bourne” film following years of absence from the franchise.
The pair worked together on “The Bourne Supremacy” and “The Bourne Ultimatum” before they exited the franchise and Jeremy Renner took over the lead as Aaron Cross.
Another “Bourne” film is currently in development at Universal with Justin Lin attached to helm and Renner set to star. As for whether this film will remain set for its July 16, 2016 release date, or whether a new Damon-Greengrass film will take it’s place, well that remains unknown.
Deadline first reported the news.
